Seattle is a beautiful city located on the West Coast of the United States. This is King County, Washington. It is the largest city in Washington state and the Pacific Northwest region of North America.
Seattle is famous for its Starbucks and coffee culture, grunge music venue, Seahawks, Space Needle, Pike Place Market, tech industry headquarters (including Amazon and Microsoft), hiking, kayaking, and regular outdoor activities living.
Alki Beach: Although located just 20 minutes southwest of Downtown Seattle, Alki Beach feels the world away from the centre of buildings. Here you can relax in the welcoming sands, swim in the harbour, and enjoy the magnificent views of the city which rises in the distance.
Fremont Public Sculptures: Spread by the Seattle art gallery of Fremont are some of the most beautiful public sculptures you can explore with its brightly coloured concrete troll. In all, there are about a dozen practical works of art that you can find with other wall paintings, sculptures, and even the installation of local neon lights.
Space Injection: Designed for the 1962 Seattle World's Fair, Space Needle will represent Emerald City more than anything else. It is 605 meters (184 meters) long, dominating the Seattle sky. The circular viewing tower sits 520 meters above the ground, offering Seattle's ever-changing views of the surrounding miles, including Puget Sound and the distant Olympic mountains.
Pike Place Market: The Pike Place Market began in the early 1900s when homemakers protested the rising price of onions in grocery stores. Today, it is one of the largest tourist attractions in not only Seattle but also in Washington State. A beautiful new product looks set by an artist. Fish fly in the air as fishermen toss themselves from the icy trays to the shore.
Boeing Factory: Travellers who wish to build their aircraft or learn more about how aircraft are made will want to visit the Boeing industry where 747, 777s and 787s (Dreamliner) are produced.
The Boeing plant is located in Everett, about 15 miles [25 km] north of Seattle. Used by the Future of Flight Aviation Center, these are the only commercial aviation flights offered in North America. In addition to visiting the factory in Paine Field, guests get the opportunity to design their aircraft.
The best way to get around Seattle is by car, especially if you want to explore the city. However, be prepared for traffic jams during rush hour and higher parking prices near your city and hotel (overnight parking costs can be as high as $ 50). You can rent a car at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), located about 13 miles south of the city.
The months of September and October are ideal for visiting Seattle. The city's prime season is in the summer, which means hotel costs go up and availability goes down, while the cold winter weather can put even the most ardent visitors off. On the other hand, early autumn is a popular tourism destination: The hot weather persists, and the masses disperse, leaving a huge number of hotel rooms (at reasonable costs) available. Spring offers low sleep rates and pleasant temperatures at that time, but you will almost certainly encounter rain and chilly air. Just remember to bring the appropriate clothing to combat the cold, and yes, visible drops are always present.
